Donut - Basic

A card with a donut that carries the total in its center and a share legend beside it. Use it to see the shares of a few items that make up a total at a glance.

Judgment built in (3)
  • A donut instead of a pie. The total fits in the center, and the slices are read by arc length rather than angle.
  • Up to four slices. Only the three largest items get a color; the rest fold into a gray Other, and the items inside Other are listed in the tooltip. With many items of even size, Other becomes the largest slice, so Bar - Ranking is the right card.
  • The legend carries only names and shares. Writing amounts on a share card blurs what is being compared, so amounts go in the tooltip.
